Organised by Family ActionPortsmouth Abuse and Rape Counselling (PARCS) aims to promote healthy relationships and alleviate the physical, emotional and psychological distress associated with interpersonal trauma including rape and sexual abuse/exploitation.
Portsmouth Abuse & Rape Counselling Service (PARCS) provides free specialist counselling and psychotherapy for people who have experienced sexual and/or domestic abuse, based in the Portsmouth and South East Hampshire area.
PARCS also provides the following services:
· Counselling for adults
· Helpline – Emotional Telephone Support
· Specialist support groups
· Training, consultation and clinical supervision
· Awareness and prevention services
PARCS exists to:

Create – Disruption
Offer – Support
In order to address sexual violation and domestic abuse using a trauma informed approach.
- We work with all genders.
- Adult perpetrators of sexual offences are unable to access our services, in the event of a disclosure we will signpost to more appropriate services.
