Our 36th Pilgrimage to Canterbury is an annual event held over the late May bank holiday weekend - 22nd to 25th May 2026.

We will walk the 74-mile route from Trafalgar Square to Canterbury, leaving on Friday morning from St Martin-in-the-Fields and arriving at Canterbury on Monday afternoon. Walking in Chaucer’s footsteps you’ll get to meet a wonderful and diverse group of The Connection’s supporters, some homeless, most not, but all enjoying the lively company, the spectacular countryside and the delicious food we have along the way!
