Story

**Good times are coming soon, so please turn purple for the month of June**

Now that we are beginning to see some light at the end of the tunnel we want to have some FUN! So we're going big and we're going purple for PURPLE MONTH, June 2021.

We'll be the first to admit that its been tough financially at the Hospice over the last 12 months. We haven't been able to hold events, our retails shops have been closed and our community haven't been able to fundraise for us in their usual way either. We've got a big hole in the finances due to this and we're looking for help to raise the £1.25 million pounds that we need.

This June we are asking if Halton will turn their fundraising purple and we have plenty of ideas to get you started. So mauve over Zoom quizzes, there's a new fundraiser in town!

You could arrange a Purple plod? Get moving in Mauve? Or perhaps you might like to arrange a day to wear purple at your school or work place, in remembrance of those that you may have lost to the pandemic. Whatever you choose to do we'll be grateful that you're thinking of us.

If you would like to get involved and have a potential purple idea of your own, we would love to hear about it - E:eleanor.smith@haltonhaven.co.uk. We can supply t-shirts, collection buckets, tins and other stuff to help with your fundraising too!
