The 40th Great North Run was meant to take place on Sunday 13 September 2020, but with everything 2020 threw at us, we are trying again in 2021!

GNR all began back in 1981 and since then over 1.2 million people have taken part - making it the worlds largest half marathon.

Starting in Newcastle upon Tyne the 13.1 mile course is lined with supporters all the way from the iconic Tyne Bridge, right out towards the coast in South Shields.

By running for #teamRAFA you will help to fund vital projects to support the RAF family of yesterday, today and tomorrow. Our befriending service for our vulnerable veterans and Mental well-being courses are just two areas where RAFA help the oldest to youngest of the family.
