Founded in memory of Russ Devereux, the Headlight Project aims to reduce the number of deaths by suicide in the Tees Valley through therapy of those bereaved by suicide, and preventative education and training.

Story

On Saturday 25th March supporters and members of the Headlight Project team will be taking the leap in our annual skydive to raise awareness about mental health and the vital work that the charity is doing. Any support and donations would be greatly appreciated!

Last year we had 7 incredibly brave jumpers and we are hoping for even more in 2023. Anyone taking part needs to register with lucia@headlightproject.org

The Russ Devereux Headlight Project was founded in memory of Russell Devereux by his wife Catherine. Russ tragically died by suicide on 6 May 2018 age 41 leaving behind three young children. The Headlight Project aims to reduce the number of deaths by suicide in the Tees Valley, which has one of the highest regional rates in the country. We aim to achieve this by providing therapy to those bereaved by suicide, and delivering preventative education and training to schools, local businesses and the community.
