Visit the charity's profileFrom 1 - 28 February, step up and take on our virtual walking (or running) fundraising challenge to represent the challenging journey faced by many living with Addison’s and adrenal insufficiency. Let’s walk together towards greater awareness of Addison's and adrenal insufficiency.
We are asking you to commit to a personalised number of steps or kilometres throughout the month of February, leading up to Rare Disease Day on 28 February 2025. Set a goal that suits your fitness level – every step counts, whether it’s 10,000 steps a day or 1,000 steps a week.
Choose if you want to take on a personal or group challenge - either join on your own or sign up with someone else, perhaps a friend or loved one.
1. Join us & set your goal - Commit to taking steps for Addison's Awareness this February and choose a step or distance target that matches your ability. You can sign up for a personal or group challenge - you decide!
2. Fundraise – Click the orange 'Start fundraising' button to create your JustGiving fundraising page. Personalise your fundraising page and share your personal step or kilometre goal. Set your fundraising target - we suggest £200.
3. Track & share your progress – Log your steps, celebrate milestones and if you have Strava connect your account to your fundraising page. Share updates on your page and social media using the hashtag #StepsForAddisons.
Be a part of the movement! Together, we can take steps towards greater understanding and awareness of our rare disease. As a thank you we will send you your very own ADSHG fundraising top.
