Story
Our two beautiful daughters, Harriet and Kimberley, were both tragically lost to mitochondrial disease, but their light continues to shine in our hearts every day.

Harriet, born on 3rd December 1994, was our first joy, a radiant little girl with sparkling blue eyes, blonde hair, and unforgettable dimples. Her smile truly lit up every room and brought joy to everyone around her. At 15 months, Harriet suddenly became unwell and was airlifted to Great Ormond Street Hospital. Despite the incredible care she received, she never regained full consciousness and passed away in our arms in June 1996.
In 1998, we were blessed with our second daughter, Kimberley, another perfect little girl with blue eyes and blonde hair. She brought us renewed hope and so much happiness. But heartbreak returned when Kimberley, like her sister, fell critically ill. After being transferred to Bristol Children’s Hospital, she fought bravely for four months, but passed away in our arms after complications from norovirus and pneumonia.

Both Harriet and Kimberley were so deeply loved and are missed beyond words. Their lives, though short, were filled with beauty, love, and light and they will remain forever in our hearts.
