Support Team SportsAid taking part in the 2023 London Marathon!
Since 1976 SportsAid has provided financial support and recognition to young athletes from all over the UK in the important early days of their career. These athletes are the sporting heroes of tomorrow and are incredibly talented, competing nationally in their age group with many representing England and GB internationally as well.
SportsAid's reach travels far - 65% of Team GB and 68% of Paralympics GB in the Rio Paralympic Games were previous recipients of a SportsAid support including: Katherine Grainger, Jessica Ennis-Hill, David Weir, Ellie Simmonds, Mo Farah, Tom Daley, Sarah Storey and Dina Asher-Smith.
The money raised from SportsAid's London Marathon team will help to alleviate the financial pressure many athletes experience whilst pursuing their sport and dream to be the best. Please become part of the team and give whatever you can.
