Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Part of the Ultra Challenge Series, the beautiful South Coast challenge takes place over the weekend of 2/3 September, with distances ranging from 25km, 50km or 100km.

There are over 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.

We're here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.

Whichever distance you choose to join Team Stroke for, you're making a difference. Trek across the beautiful south coast, with the route taking you up Beachy Head, over the magnificent Seven Sisters, and along the famous South Downs Way National Trail. Then it's through Brighton and on to Arundel.
