Why support TLC?

We believe everyone deserves safe, healthy and happy relationships free from violence. TLC is one of few charities in the UK that works with people who harm as well as people who have been harmed to tackle the root cause of domestic abuse.

Domestic abuse can impact young people far beyond childhood. It can lead to trauma that lasts a lifetime.

By supporting children who have experienced abuse, we allow them to come to terms with their trauma. We help break cycles of violence so children do not learn unhealthy behaviours and use them against other people.

We need your help to raise funds and keep our vital services going.

£5 could help us provide information and relevant support to a caller over the phone who is looking for help dealing with their relationship.

£50 will pay for one session of counselling for a child or young person who has been a witness to domestic abuse in the home

£100 could pay for arts and crafts supplies to use in the youth work groups of children who are showing negative behaviours in their relationships
