Tough Mudder For The Children's Bereavement Centre

On July the 4th and 5th a group of our incredible supporters will take on one of the worlds most intense- and muddiest- obstacle courses, all to raise money to ensure that local children can receive the support that they need when they need it most.

The Children's Bereavement Centre is a unique and special place where children aged between 3 and 18 and their families who are affected by terminal illness or death of someone close can access the support and guidance they need. Thank you for your support.

Story

Drawn together by the irresistible call of mud, madness and medals our incredible team will take on one of the toughest obstacle courses on the planet. They’ll crawl, climb, splash and shiver across either 5K or 15K of mud, freezing water, electrifying wires and towering obstacles- all for an extraordinary cause.

But this challenge isn’t just physical. Each participant will dig deep through mental grit, aching muscles and the muddy helping hands of teammates- and even strangers- because Tough Mudder is nothing without camaraderie. Every step, slip and soggy victory is in support of local children and families who need help when life feels at its toughest.

The support we have received from the Children's bereavement Centre has been nothing short of amazing. Can't praise the Centre and it's volunteers enough.

The Children’s Bereavement Centre is a local registered charity providing early support for children and young people aged 3–18 who are facing life-changing trauma after the death or terminal illness of someone they love.

Based in Newark, with venues across Nottinghamshire, we’ve delivered specialist bereavement support for over 20 years. We’ve helped thousands of children and families- and we remain the only dedicated bereavement service for young people in our area, filling a vital gap in local care when it’s needed most.
