Story
This July, over 500 executives from around 60 leading organisations will descend on the Brecon Beacons for the UK Challenge — the world’s leading team-building event, now in its 36th year.
This year, The OppO Foundation is the exclusive charity partner.
Founded in 2014 by Kayam Iqbal — himself a veteran who overcame severe PTSD — The OppO Foundation delivers targeted, direct support to UK veterans, their families and dependants facing disability, mental health challenges or financial hardship after service. Our patron is Johnson Beharry VC, one of only two living British recipients of the Victoria Cross — the highest military honour in the world.
We don't do generic. We assess individual needs and act. Every pound raised through the UK Challenge goes directly to people who have given everything for our country. The Foundation has funded specialist sports wheelchairs for veterans competing at the Invictus Games and Paralympics — giving those who sacrificed so much a pathway back through sport, competition and purpose.
Senior executives from leading organisations across the UK are taking part — and teams are fundraising on our behalf right now.
