Story
Help Veterans Rebuild Their Lives
Many veterans leave the Armed Forces carrying more than memories. For some, the battle continues through anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, isolation, financial worries, housing problems and the difficult adjustment to civilian life.
At Anxious Minds Veteran Recovery Colleges, we provide early intervention and long-term mental health support for veterans, their families and carers across the North East.
Why This Campaign Matters
Too many veterans wait too long for help, or struggle to find support from people who truly understand military life.
Our Veteran Recovery Colleges offer a safe, welcoming and non-clinical place where veterans can access:
* Accredited counselling
* Peer support
* Outdoor therapy
* Recovery-focused activities
* Practical help with wider life challenges
* A trusted community where they feel understood
“For many veterans, recovery starts when they realise they are no longer alone.”
