Story

The Watch Group is about investing in and empowering our young members to be today's custodians of our islands' wildlife.

Our Watch Group gain first hand experience of what it is to make a positive difference: taking their ideas to our Islands' legislative assembly; actively restoring habitats by growing and planting native plants; protecting wildlife from plastic entanglement and ingestion with regular beach cleans; promoting public campaigns raising environmental awareness.

We are proud of their six goals of the Watch Group Islands Plan and support their gaining knowledge and experience to take action and overcome the environmental concerns of today.

About the charity

Falklands Conservation is the largest membership based conservation charity in the Islands. We work on behalf of our members and in partnership with the local and international community to conserve the Falklands natural environment, through practical conservation, advocacy and community outreach.
