The Healthcare Heroes Fund supports the health and wellbeing of staff across Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals.

Our staff work tirelessly to provide outstanding care to patients and their families every day. Charitable donations help fund facilities, activities and initiatives that support their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, the fund has helped provide enhancements including staff benches, improvements to staff rooms and dedicated wellbeing spaces featuring artwork and calming environments where colleagues can rest, recharge and reflect.

By investing in staff wellbeing, we help create a positive working environment where colleagues feel supported and valued. When our staff are at their best, they are better able to deliver the highest standards of care and support to our patients and their families.
