Alzheimer’s Research UK take on their first ever overseas challenge to Guatemala in April 2018. Guatemala is considered Central America’s most diverse country, offering landscapes and experiences that have been enticing travellers for centuries. Be warned- the Guatemala Volcano Trek challenge is not for the faint hearted – summiting five active volcanoes in seven days including Tajumulco – the highest peak in Central America at an incredible 4,220m. By taking the road less travelled, you will be rewarded with striking views and a chance to discover the magic and mystery of the Mayan culture.
