We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Children at GOSH often have to give up the things they love: from not being able to eat treats such as chocolate or chips, to playing outside or being able to spend time at home with mum and dad.

We’re asking you to show your strength and join our brave patients by giving up something you love during January whilst raising much needed funds for the Give to GOSH appeal.

Whether you’re crazy about chocolate, got a serious shopping habit, are hooked on TV, or have a passion for puddings, by giving it up in January you’re helping GOSH continue to be an extraordinary place for the children and families who so desperately need it.

How your money helps

  • £10 could help pay for spacious new bedrooms on the specialist cardiac unit
  • £50 could pay for a parent to stay overnight in our family accommodation unit while their child is at GOSH
  • £80 could cover the costs of one flow meter in our new cardiac unit, a gadget that helps ensure children are getting just the right amount of oxygen while they recover
