Pete's Richmond Runfest Marathon 2017

Richmond RunFest Marathon 2017 · 17 September 2017 ·
I'm at it again! This time I'm going the full 26 miles. This will be my first Marathon distance run, and not only that but I have a target of 3hrs 30 mins in mind, all for charity, and all at the expense of my own blood sweat, tears and of course energy gels.
It's not the easiest run either... starting in Kew gardens, then down narrow towpaths to Hampton court and back up again, twisting and turning and risking life and limb in the hood that is Kingston.
I'm doing all of this in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital, and as it's my first ever marathon I hope as many of you as possible will join me in donating to this amazing charity. Recent events have reiterated just how much compassion these folks have to give, and reminds us how many lives they must touch every day that we don't even hear about.
Thanks in advance, and of course if you feel like coming down to cheer me on that'd be awesome too! https://www.richmondrunningfestival.com/
