The Health Tree Foundation is the charity for the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. Your help means we can provide acute hospital and community services to a population of over 400,000 people across North and North East Lincolnshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire

Story

The Golden Leaves fund covers Grimsby, Scunthorpe & Goole hospitals & is there to support the elderly services, including the latest developments in dementia care. This zones funding is in place to emphasise the social & personal requirement of senior members of our community who need additional assistance, who have a strong desire to age with dignity. This campaign hopes to enable this by raising funds to purchase dementia friendly clocks, toilet seats along with "Reminiscence Therapy" Screens. These screens cost around £6k each; we would like to purchase 2 of these.

Benefits of  Reminiscence Therapy Software:

- Reconnects families with their loved one

- Relatives become involved and learn more about their family member

- Helps during mealtimes to improve nutrition and hydration

- Removes social isolation & gets patients involved in group activities
