Over half the word's population are under 30, and 9 in 10 of these young people live in developing countries. This new generation is more active, more connected and more able to lead the change needed than ever before. Restless Development is a global agency that is championing a growing movement, led by this new generation. Our vision is that young people everywhere are able to demand and deliver a just and sustainable world.  

In the past 30 years our network of young volunteers has grown to over 17,000 people worldwide. They have trained, inspired and helped more than seven million children, young people, and community members in Africa, South Asia and the UK. Young people like 22yr old Bhawani, who helped stop two child marriages in her community in Nepal. Or, 17yr old Eva from Tanzania, who launched a campaign to make sure her leaders delivered their promise to provide clean water.

 Virtual 1 is joining Restless Development in championing young people as leaders of development. As part of our 3 years Charity Partnership, their staff are raising vital funds that will help support 2.5 million change makers over the next 5 years. Together, we are unleashing the power of young to lead positive change that transforms communities, systems and lives beyond them.
