St Elizabeth’s is a Hertfordshire-based charity which supports vulnerable children and adults of all ages who have severe epilepsy, complex neurological conditions and profound learning disabilities.
We provide high-quality, specialist care, education, health support and therapy, as well as access to a huge range of accessible leisure and vocational activities, helping those living with severe disabilities to live safe, happy lives and to maximise their opportunities to live life to the full.
In the past 12 months, we have supported 70 children and young people and 136 adults. Our service-users face a range of difficulties, in terms of their physical, learning, sensory and communication abilities and their health. Some of those we support can have seizures up to 30 times a day and many of our children and adults have such complicated conditions that they require highly specialised care, 24-hours a day, 52 weeks of the year. By supporting our work here at the Centre, you could help fund the purchase of new therapy equipment, support the salary of a music therapist to work with our school children, fund new accessible IT equipment for our College learners or provide communication aids for our residents – all essential to ensure they can live safe and happy lives and can access all opportunities.
