Ladies and Gentleman,

As some of you already know, I announced over a month ago that I would finally be parting with my lustrous long locks :) Peer pressure finally got the better of me! So I decided to sacrifice my ponytail for three charitable causes:

CAT HOMING AND RESCUE (C.H.A.R.) - http://www.catchat.org/char/cgibin/prtoc.cgi
Based in Warrington, C.H.A.R., known as Cat Homing And Rescue, operates across North Cheshire and South Lancashire, rescuing and rehoming stray unwanted and abandoned cats and kittens. C.H.A.R. does not believe in euthanasia and relies solely on donations.

The Save The Children organisation works across 43 countries world-wide to ensure children get proper healthcare, food, education and protection.

LITTLE PRINCESS TRUST - http://www.littleprincesses.org.uk/
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs to children suffering hair loss due to cancer treatment. And yes, my hair has been donated to the charity to be used for a wig!

The "chop of the hair" happened on Thursday 14 October and was an event not to be missed! But for those of you not there, the event was well documented and I'm posting photos of the whole thing on Facebook and my Just Giving page.
