Story

I'm joining #TeamSIA and taking on the London, Manchester and Barcelona Marathons in 2021. Please sponsor me to support the vital work that SIA do to help everyone affected by SCI.

As a Yorkshireman I love a bargain so I'm giving you a great 3 for 1 offer - you sponsor me once and I'll run 3 marathons for you.  But it's only fair that you give me a little more than you would if I was only running one.

Here's the schedule;

London - 3rd October

Manchester - 10th October

Barcelona - 7th November

The last time I ran a marathon was 2016 and I've not really used lockdown productively in terms of my fitness so it is going to be hard and I will be earning every pound you donate.

Here's the WHY;

There are currently around 50,000 people living with a spinal cord
injury in the UK, with a further 2,500 people sustaining an injury every year. That means that every four hours, someone will hear the
news that they may never walk again.

You've got an opportunity to help me make a difference to the lives of a lot of people who's lives have been impacted by a Spinal Injury.  It will be hard work for me but I know those people who have suffered a Spinal Injury would gladly swap places with me if they could.
