Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As Amar's brother, I have observed his struggle with his kidney condition from a very young age.  Given his very rare an acute kidney failure, it has meant that a transplant hasn't been an option meaning he's had to rely on kidney dialysis for most of his life.  This is no mean feat and requires huge responsibility, commitment and discipline.  He has been nothing short of an inspiration around strength and resilience.

There aren't this many patients in the UK or world that have had to endure Kidney dialysis for such a long time and even in short bursts it can be fatal if not approached with the right amount of diligence and discipline.  I'm so proud of the dedication Amar and Kidney Care UK are placing on helping to guide and mentor other kidney patients around this major adjustment they have to make in order to survive and thrive.

We would really appreciate your support towards this great cause that is so close to Amar's and our hearts.
