Story
There is a story behind every mile we travel. In Malawi, most girls walk or bike about 10 kilometers each way to get to school. In a country where only 6% of girls finish secondary school and less than 1% -- Yes, less than 1%! -- complete post-secondary degrees, AGE Africa is committed to going the extra mile in the fight for girls' education.
Through comprehensive scholarships, peer-driven life skills education, and post-secondary transition support, over 90% of AGE Africa scholars graduate from secondary school. Almost half continue to college or vocational school. By supporting AGE Africa, you will directly help provide scholarships, school supplies, life skills education, and career planning for academically talented girls in rural Malawi. Girl by girl, school by school, village by village, we will transform a nation together.
