Story
Most teenagers relax all summer when they have finished their GCSEs.
Most teenagers get driving lessons for their 17th birthday.
My mum had other ideas……..
On September 25th I will be 17 years and 15 days old, and tackling the 13.1 miles of the Ealing Half Marathon to raise money for the National Foundation for Youth Music in memory of Alice Gross. Music is my passion, as it was for Alice, an Ealing teenager who was tragically killed in 2014. The Foundation provides life-changing music-making to young people in challenging circumstances.
I thought I would get some tips from a Maasi warrior ! Remember my weekly PE lesson at school is rowing, in other words sitting down NOT running.
