I am taking part in the Great North Run in honour of Simon Booker. Simon suffered with Ulcerative Colitis, and the crucial work Crohn’s and Colitis UK do was dear to Simon’s heart.

Simon was a great friend, father, husband and son, and I’m honoured to be running in his memory.
