The Great North Run is the world's largest half marathon with over 60,000 runners!
The run starts in Newcastle and finishes on the coast at South Shields. There will be thousands of cheering supporters lining the streets cheering runners on every step of the way.
This isn't just a physical and mental challenge for the Crohn's & Colitis UK team, it is also one of hope, heart and courage as we take on the half marathon to raise awarenss and give all those affect by Crohn's and Colitis confidence and comfort to live freer, fuller lives.
Every single penny from the 2025 Great North Run enables vital research, support and awareness of the conditions, making a difference to the over 500,000 people living in the UK with these lifelong conditions.
