The Orthotics department at Royal Hospital for Children Glasgow is the only Orthotics department in Scotland specialising solely in Paediatrics. The core treatment area is Greater Glasgow.

Story

The Orthotics department at the Royal Hospital for Children is a fantastic team of gifted, friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable people who do a wonderful job for so many patients, whether it be a simple walker boot or a complicated splinting device to assist someone in their daily tasks. The department customises the treatment for each patient and every penny raised by this charity event will be spent on improving the technology available to help provide the best for all.

I never need an excuse for a bike ride so when Mel Dixon, the orthotic lead, asked me to join a charity ride to raise money for the department I was delighted to accept.

Thank you for your support.
