Enza Ascione is raising money for Oxfam GB
Story
Dear friends,
Oxjam Extravaganza is happening on 7th October at Nambucca! This year's incredible line up spans different genres not to leave anybody disappointed! So let's have fun while we make a difference contributing to a good cause in aid of Oxfam.
Oxfam mission is primarily poverty alleviation, this spans a vaste radius and touches the very basic needs of human beings, such as having clean water to drink and decent sanitation. The charity is equally involved in emergency situations, i.e. when a natural disaster strikes - a flood, a earthquake etc - Oxfam's priority is to start saving lives, then to help people come back stronger. Oxfam provides help for people to get food and the essentials they need to survive and ensure the most vulnerable are kept safe from harm. Oxfam supports them in being better prepared to cope with shocks and help rebuild communities to come back stronger from disaster and to face the future on their own terms.
The charity fulfils its mission based on donations and this is why Oxjam happens.
It's amazing how this initiative merges the power of music which brings people together with an humanitarian cause which is all about bringing people together to make a difference!
