Fiona was diagnosed with a brain tumour in March 2015 and just over a month after undergoing brain surgery to remove as much of the tumour as possible she took place in her first Neurocare Headstart Event. By
engaging as many friends and family as possible to take part in the
event, Fiona was able to raise a significant amount of money to support this fantastic charity. In 2016, despite suffering the effects of her ongoing treatment for the tumour she repeated the event, and with the support of the team she raised over £3000, approximately 10% of all the money raised by the 2016 Headstart event. 

Sadly on March 30th 2017, Fiona lost her brave fight against the brain tumour having exhausted all treatment options and done everything she positively could do. Fiona loved taking part in the 2015 and 2016 events, raising money for a cause she truly believed in and having a brilliant time with her friends and family while she was doing it. The team will be coming together again in 2017 with a few new faces to raise as much money as possible for Neurocare, to remember Fiona by supporting her legacy in this event and to ensure others can benefit from the amazing work that the Neurocare charity supports.
