I'm taking on the Aspire Channel Swim 2023, swimming the distance of the English Channel – 22 miles, over 12 weeks to raise money for Aspire. Every four hours someone is paralysed by Spinal Cord Injury and Aspire provides the essential equipment, advice and housing that spinal cord injured people need to live their lives independently. This is a big challenge, but the more I raise, the more of a difference I'll make, so please sponsor me and be generous!

So far, I am really pleased with my progress. Some weeks have been a struggle especially when I am tired, but the drive to get the miles in gets me through.
I am very proud of the team, we are helping each other keep motivated, we all have personal goals alongside the main goal to swim the whole 22miles, it is lovely to see everyone supporting each other through these.
