Maisie ate a "health bar" containing peanuts. While her nut allergy was well-controlled by tablets, she went into anaphylactic shock and we sadly lost our wonderful young daughter on 19 January 2015 at the age of 21 years old. Teresa and I would like to thank you for all of your support since that day.

We have organised a 25km walk in Maisie's memory on 8 April 2017 on the Majorcan island of Magaluf, where she worked in the summers and sold more vodka shots than anyone (by a wide margin). At sunset, we'll raise a glass in her memory alongside 55 members of her family and friends.

We thought this would be the right time to show how your donations to the Anaphylaxis Campaign have been and will be spent, and I hope this will be enough to tempt you to donate just a little more to our cause. I can assure you that, when I meet folk who are in danger from their allergies, many have not assembled the full protection available to them.

For this 25km walk through Magaluf, we will use #MilesForMaisie to tell the story before, during and after the event. #RememberMaisie will also be used for the overall campaign effort behind the online tool, collecting the variety of fundraising stories currently going on and, we hope, in future.
