I convinced my dad to do the zipworld challenge with me! Yay!

What is the zipworld challenge, I hear you ask? Is this the new ice bucket challenge? Ehhh no, not quite. There are only very minor celebrities like me and my dad taking part. Emphasis on the very minor. But zipworld is LONGER, HARDER AND SCARIER than the ice bucket challenge! (Cue the gasps of horror)

Zipworld velocity 2 is only just the FASTEST ZIPLINE IN THE WORLDDD! (can we have some ooohs) and the LONGEST IN EUROPE! (can we have some aaahs) 

I hate heights and I don’t like things that go really fast. So 

• being attached to what is essentially a thick piece of string
• for two hours 
• with only a harness to save you from falling to a painful and splatty death
• travelling at more than 100mph

*reconsiders why she even chose to do this*

*remembers that it’s going to feed a lot of hungry and suffering people*

Oh yes, it would probably be helpful if I told you what the money is going towards. Every penny that is raised is going towards the MH bread factory in Syria. It feeds THOUSANDS of hungry widows, orphans and disabled people everyday. (veryyy impressive, right?) 

Who wants to help feed hungry people? (say “me!”) Yay! I will take literally whatever you can give- only 3.5p is needed to make one loaf of bread so even if all you can donate is a fiver, that will feed 140 people. Pretty cool, huh? 

Bread is such a simple thing. You just go get some milk roll from the supermarket (well I do anyway. Major respect for the milk roll 👌👌) But for these Syrians, it’s not just bread. it’s a life saver in a lot of different ways: 

🍞 it gives them food

🫂 it gives them a sense of community

🏰 it gives them stability

🔆 and finally, it gives them hope
