Ramadan will begin in the evening of Monday 12th April and ends the evening of Wednesday 12th May 2021

Children on the Edge was sparked into life in 1990 by Anita Roddick and The Body Shop at Home™ has continued to support our work since then, raising more than £2 million and changing thousands of young lives around the world. 

Help children like Nural to get back to school when lockdown lifts ​
Nural says "I always love to go to school, but we have not been able to go during lockdown. ​I am looking forward to going again as I like the reading and writing, the playing and the games”.

Before lockdown, Nural and his classmates have been making videos as part of Moja Kids and he can’t wait “I want to be picked to be part of making a video soon!”

Classrooms have been closed during lockdown, but are re-opening again after Eid. For almost a year children have continued to learn in small groups outside with their teachers, but they can’t wait to be back with friends again in their colourful classrooms and school gardens.

Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam. Zakat reminds us that our wealth is given by Allah (God) ensuring that we fulfil the responsibilities of our privilege, and that our excess wealth is redistributed to those who are struggling to survive.  

Zakat can be donated at any time, but we like to give our Zakat during Ramadan, in order to benefit from the multiplied blessings of Ramadan.
