Story

For those of you who may not know, I lost my Dad to cancer just before Christmas. He was a massive role model in mine and my families life. You would never have met such a kind, generous and helpful man, he would do anything for anyone, from good advice to the most hands on job, he would be happy to do what he could.

The reason I’ve chosen the charity Butterflies is because when my Dad was terminally ill we had the Butterflies visit us every few days to make sure we were okay and to see if we needed anything or any extra support. They were willing to sit with patients just to talk and offer comfort at that difficult time.

Fortunately we had siblings, but there are other families that don’t have many people to spend their last days with, and I really want to help support their cause to make sure patients have all the support they need. To raise money for the Butterflies, me and my friend Lily are taking on Tough Mudder in Finsbury Park in London on Saturday 13th April.

Any donation is very much appreciated, and thank you for taking the time to read my story.
