Every year an estimated 7000 young people and 10,000 women ask for help with homelessness. That's why I've joined Team Llamau at the Cardiff Half Marathon 2021. Llamau are daring to imagine a world without homelessness and believe, that although ambitious, with the right support and protection in place this mission can be a reality. 2020 was a year like no other however the effects of it will most certainly be felt into 2021. As is so often the case, the pandemic has disproportionately affected the already vulnerable. Young people on zero-hour contracts, women facing lockdowns in violent houses and increased family tension has all contributed to Llamau's services never being more needed. That is why I've decided to take on the Cardiff Half for Llamau. I appreciate it is a difficult time for many at the moment but anything you can donate would be so appreciated.
