This year, I will be raising money for Robes SleepIn 2020. I will SleepIn to help those who SleepOut. Since 2007, Robes has operated across Southwark and Lambeth to provide shelter for people who find themselves homeless in London. During the Winter of 2019/2020, Robes provided for 98 guests. Despite COVID-19, 35 guests moved into permanent accommodation, 23 into temporary accommodation and 25 into emergency accommodation (Stat updated: June 11, 2020). The SleepOut/SleepIn is usually the Robes Projects biggest source of income, and this year all the proceeds will go towards: Running a single shelter in one place for our guests throughout the winter, for the first time ever The Robes Run of care packages which our staff and volunteers make and deliver to our guests. The Robes Check-In and Chat service, which allows our volunteers, guests and recent guests to connect and prevent loneliness. Help Robes Project help people experiencing homelessness! :)
