This month I've decided to challenge myself with this solo virtual event and to not only keep me active and focused but to help make a difference to others at the same time. Oxfam is a global movement of millions of people who share the belief that, in a world rich in resources, poverty isn't inevitable From women's rights to water, earthquakes to education, we do life-changing, groundbreaking work in all sorts of areas and when an emergency hits, Oxfam is there. At any given time our teams are responding to an average of 25 emergencies worldwide. Together with our local partners, we work in more than 90 countries as part of the Oxfam International confederation, to tackle the root causes of poverty and respond to emergencies.
