The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileI had a bit of an ambition to do something, I don't want to say something remarkable, but something different. And hopefully something that is also inspiring to women cyclists - Cat
Special Note - Current government public health guidelines recommend that we stay physically and mentally active, this includes being able to exercise outside (whilst practicing the social distancing guidelines of keeping more than 2 meters apart). We hope this solo virtual event will provide both physical and mental well-being benefits and focus to keep you active. As a solo virtual event we are asking all participants to take part individually and to ensure the safety of themselves and others when doing so, this does of course mean taking part indoors for those with access to exercise bikes.
Inspired by the world cycling adventure of Cat & Raz! These two women circumnavigated the world on a tandem bicycle. Covering 18,000km, they set out on this challenge to see the world and fundraise for Oxfam. Cycling around the world may not be something we can all do, but setting our own personal challenges is. Inspired by these women, set your own personal challenge whilst fundraising to support the work Oxfam does for women around the world.
Oxfam is a movement of millions of people, all working towards one goal - an end to poverty to everyone. In over 70 years we've become world leaders in emergency water and sanitation, and experts in providing shelter, food and protection.
