GOSH are proud to be Charity of the Year for the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100. Our incredible team will be raising vital funds for parent and family accommodation at the hospital.

Story

I am taking part in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100, on 29th July 2018 alongside my brother-in-law Rob Morrissey. We are raising money for the Great Ormond Street Children's Charity, in memory of my niece Darcey Leigh Shaw.

The 100-mile route is on fully closed roads, taking in parts of the Olympic road race route. The ride starts in the new Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then follows the closed roads through the capital and onto Surrey’s stunning country roads and hills.

Darcey left us suddenly and far too soon at just 2 and a half years old in September 2016, at Great Ormond Street Hospital. We would like to thank them for their support and care, by raising as much money as possible for this amazing charity. Darcey brought us all so much joy and happiness in her short life. She will never be forgotten.
