For once in my life I'd like to give instead of receive on my birthday. I've thought about this deeply for a while and felt that I've never really contributed to anything greater in the world. I guess the older you get, the more you realise what's important. And material things just aren't!

So, I kindly request my friends and family to help me celebrate my birthday by fundraising for Hand in Hand for Syria. 

They have been working on the ground in Syria from the beginning; they've set up hospitals, shelter and provided food. In 2016, they treated 386,750 patients in their medical facilities. To put it into perspective, £50 could feed a vulnerable Syrian family for a whole month! 

To kick things off, I've added my own contribution. Every amount will help, no matter how big or small.
