Story
My popar has decided to take part in the Abseil at Fort Dunlop to raise money for Birmingham Children's Hospital.
The decision to do this was a simple one after seeing the amazing care that our beautiful incredible daughter received whilst on PICU. Rose Sheila-Ann Peters was born on 11/2/2019 in Worcester, however, it was quickly established that Rose was critically ill. A specialist team came to Worcester where the decision was made that Rose needed to be transferred to Birmingham Children's Hospital where specialist treatment was given. We spent 12 days at the hospital with all the staff working endlessly providing the best care for Rose and working round the clock to make her better. However, on 23/2/2019 we had to say goodbye to our girl, she fought and fought and made us so proud as parents. We will be forever grateful to all the team on PICU and all the staff that we encountered whilst at the hospital, you gave us 12 magical days with our beautiful Rose. Forever in our hearts.
