Harvey was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis when he was 14. He had a bit of a bumpy road but when he was 17 years old he was very ill with it and had to have two surgeries, 6 weeks in hospital and 8 days in intensive care. He had his large colon removed and a stoma fitted.

He wanted to complete an Ironman and last year we did our own one. This year as we had entered Ironman Italy but Harvey can't do it (due to going to Uni) I am going to do it solo but at the real event.

Harvey is a true inspiration to me.
