Event: Head Start 5k & 10K, on 7 May 2017
The ROSA™ surgical assistant aids neurosurgeons to undertake complicated brain surgery which may not have been possible without it's assistance due to it's precision and minimally invasive technique.

Story

On Sunday 7th May, I'll be running in the Neurocare 10k in Rother Valley Country Park, just outside Sheffield. At the turn of 2017, I decided to get fit and raise money for a good cause simultaneously!

I've been training since the end of January, having never done any distance running. It's been tough on the old knees but I have kept up the three-runs-per-week training schedule rain or shine, and am hoping to stagger over the finish line come May 7th.

Your donations to Neurocare help fund life-saving equipment and ground-breaking research and training, enhancing the quality of Neuroscience and Neurology departments in Sheffield hospitals.

Thank you for all of your support!
