PAPYRUS Enters Administration
PAPYRUS Administration
What PAPYRUS entering administration means for supporters
Understanding the situation
What has happened?
We’re very sorry to share that PAPYRUS has entered administration and its services, including HOPELINE247, are no longer operating.
We know this news will be upsetting for many people. PAPYRUS supported young people, families, parents and professionals across the UK for many years, and many supporters will have a personal connection to the charity’s work.
This page brings together the information we can currently share about PAPYRUS administration, PAPYRUS donations and PAPYRUS fundraising pages. We’ll update it if further confirmed information becomes available.
The impact on supporters
If you’re a donor, fundraiser or regular supporter, there are a few important things to know:
-
All PAPYRUS fundraising pages on JustGiving have been closed
-
Donations that have already been sent to PAPYRUS are now under the charity’s control and will be managed through the administration process
-
Donations that have not yet been sent to PAPYRUS will be refunded directly to the donor who made them
-
Supporters affected by a refund do not need to take any action unless contacted by JustGiving
Support services
The closure of HOPELINE247 may be particularly difficult for anyone who relied on its services or is worried about a young person.
If you need support now, or are concerned about someone else, the following services are available:
-
Samaritans: Call 116 123 (free, 24 hours a day)

-
NHS 111: For urgent mental health support
-

Support comes first. If you’re looking for help for yourself or somebody else, please use the services above before considering fundraising or charitable giving.

FAQs
All PAPYRUS fundraising pages on JustGiving have been closed.
Following PAPYRUS entering administration, we have closed fundraising pages linked to the charity and are no longer accepting donations through those pages.
Donations already paid to PAPYRUS remain with the charity.

Those donations will be refunded directly to donors.
Refunds will be processed back to the payment method used to make the original donation.
No action is currently required.
If your donation is eligible for a refund, it will be processed automatically. If any additional information is needed, affected donors will be contacted directly.
