JustGiving fundraisers ran, walked, wheeled, danced, or did another activity to log 65 million miles on JustGiving pages. That equals about 169 trips to the moon! 🌙

People in wheelchairs covered over 7,000 meaningful miles in monumental efforts that made a difference for the charity they love.

SKIPPING WITH HEART

£229,000 raised in skipping events

Skipping challenges saw the biggest increase in popularity overall, with 286% more sponsored skips this year than last.

Running for good

£39 million raised in London Marathon 2023

London Marathon fundraisers raised over £39 million on JustGiving for charity this year, including over £2 million on race day alone.

And you know our JustGiving Cheer Squad cheered them on every step of the way!

Creative champs

Brave fundraisers jumped out of planes, shaved their heads, and went live for the causes they love in 2023.

£5.5 million raised by skydivers

Thousands of brave fundraisers took the leap and jumped out of planes for charity this year, collectively raising 40% more than in 2022!

3,600 locks full of love

Thousands shaved their heads for causes they loved in 2023. This includes 13% more pages dedicated to the timeless mullet…like this epic fundraising triumph from 15-year-old Toby.

£1.5 million raised via charity streams

Fundraisers raised £1.5 million by live-streaming their activities online via Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok.

The JustGiving map lit up with compassion in 2023. Norwich topped the list as the most giving area, with 22% of residents donating to charitable causes on JustGiving.

The JustGiving community raised over half a million pounds to help others with fundamental needs during the cost-of-living crisis.

UK schools turned into hubs of generosity, collectively raising £605K for special projects, appeals, and events.

CAFFEINE FOR A CAUSE

£2 million raised in coffee mornings

Fundraising for events like coffee mornings rose 127% and raised more than £2 million on JustGiving!

RECORD-BREAKER

5-year-old sets Three Peaks Challenge world record

Seren Price became the youngest person ever to climb the highest mountains of Wales, England, and Scotland, at just five years old.

And she did it all in under 48 hours, raising £7,000+ for Birmingham Children’s Hospital!

Battling snowfall, high winds, poor visibility and temperatures below -18C, her bravery’s a reminder that age is no barrier when it comes to making a difference.
