Jim & Enzo will be walking and visiting 9 historic churches in West Sussex covering 15miles to raise money for the Sussex Historic Churches Trust as part of the county-wide Ride & Stride Event on the 9th of September.

The average age of these 9 churches is just under 1000 years old, with the oldest dating back to Saxon times. Many historic churches and chapels are battling to survive: roofs leak, ancient timbers rot and medieval stonework crumbles.

This fundraising for SHCT is essential so that the trust can continue with the work of preserving historic places of worship, of all denominations, throughout Sussex. 50% of the funds raised will go to our church and 50% to the Trust.
