Team Darcy are abseiling in honour of Debbie and Michael Hollinson's beloved daughter Darcy Hollinson, who we tragically lost to suicide at the age of 17.

The abseil date, 14thApril 2024, is extremely poignant for us as it is the 3rd anniversary following Darcy’s death. We have been directly supported by Pete’s Dragons. Their service is invaluable and together we’re continuing to raise awareness around suicide.

Team Darcy is made up of her family and officers and staff from Devon and Cornwall Police.

Members of this team have all been directly affected, whether it’s because they have lost a family member or friend, or because they deal with extremely traumatic situations associated with suicide in the course of their work.

Sadly, we know that people in the future are going to need to be supported through this terrible experience. The work that Pete’s Dragons does supporting and saving lives is invaluable.
