Story
Running for Brains – Literally.
This June, I’m running the Leeds 10K to raise funds for The National Brain Appeal. It’s a cause that’s quietly, but deeply, personal. A few years ago, someone close to my partner was affected by a cruel neurological disease. That experience stays with you.
I won’t overexplain. I’m running because I can, for those who can’t. I’m not just running one race. I’m taking on a the triple June of Doom challenge:
🏰 8 June – Two Castles Run (10k prep race)
🎽 15 June – Leeds 10K (the big one – fundraising focus)
🔥 21 June – Total Warrior (6k run through fire, ice, mud challenges)
Training is underway, I’m running with a group of mates who’ve rallied behind this cause, showing up every week at 6am to train, rain or shine.
If you can spare a few quid, it would mean a lot. The money supports research, care, and families going through the toughest of times.
Let’s do something good with our legs.
Thank you,
Ben
